Over the weekend, Midwest Breast & Aesthetic Surgery was fortunate to have sponsored a small get-together for our online patient support group in Cincinnati. The group was originally designed as a support system to connect breast cancer survivors in the Midwest. Since its inception, the group has become an incomparable cornerstone for the community, bringing together a network for survivors of all ages to share their experiences with each other.

The event was held at Pottery Place in Cincinnati. Surrounded by a light meal and a selection of arts and crafts, survivors were treated to a wonderful afternoon that celebrated their journey. For many of these women, the event was the perfect venue to finally meet in person, share their experiences, and forge connections that were previously made over the internet.
The event was organized by Katrina Smith, our Surgery Patient Liaison. We here at Midwest Breast & Aesthetics plan to sponsor more get-togethers in the coming months, across venues in Cincinnati and Columbus.

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we presented guests with these wonderful gift bags.

We supplied each guest with an assortment of paints to enable them to bring out their inner artists.

Each table was set with a collection of paints and ceramics that brought out our survivors’ artistic side, giving them a chance to express their journey creatively.

A finished ceramic ribbon signifying the power of hope that all survivors share.
